Les Corallines's Thalasso & Spa Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary

This year, the Thalasso & Spa Les Corallines is celebrating its 35th anniversary! 

Founded in 1988 on the coast, the Thalasso & Spa inLa Grande Motte, is an independent facility where a warm welcome is a value passed down from generation to generation. It is a family-run business, which is quite rare in the thalassotherapy sector, dominated by large corporations.

To mark the anniversary of the Thalasso & Spa complex—named after a type of seaweed—several staff members answered a few questions posed by Le Métropolitain for a special video.

In this video filmed by Le Métropolitain, Christophe Esteller—who has been with the company since 2000 and serves as Head of Reception for the Les Corallines**** Hotel and the Thalasso & Spa—talks about what keeps our customers coming back. 

In his view, the hotel offers many amenities that allow guests to enjoy themselves: access to the relaxation facilities, the menu at thalasso Treatments & Spa, as well as its prime seaside location in La Grande Motte, close to downtown and local attractions. 

Together with his front desk team, they are committed to providing a personalized welcome to guests, making them feel right at home: guests have their routines, get to stay in their favorite rooms, and reconnect with staff members who have been there year after year, with whom they’ve developed a close bond.

Christophe, for his part, has been with Les Corallines for 23 years because he enjoys the family-like atmosphere and takes great pleasure in welcoming both our regular guests and newcomers!

In this interview, directors Isabelle Joulié and Julie Cohen-Salles talk to us about the establishment’s founding, the evolution and diversification of its offerings, and its plans for the future. In fact, the Les Corallines Thalasso & Spa is working on implementing an eco-friendly project using thalassotherapy. 

Supported by the City of La Grande-Motte, this energy transition project involves using marine energy to power heating, air conditioning, and hot water systems and is expected to be implemented within the year.

This project, proposed for the Thalasso & Spa Les Corallines, complements the measures already in place to minimize our environmental impact: eliminating single-use packaging and raising awareness among guests and staff to conserve water and energy.
