Our activities for March 8, dedicated to the fight for women's rights.

Since Thalasso & Spa Les Corallines is a woman-led company with many female employees across our various departments, it is important for us to raise awareness about March 8 and take action in our own way.

March 8 is a day of action, awareness, and mobilization dedicated to the fight for women’s rights, equality, and justice.

It is a day of demonstrations around the world: an opportunity to take stock of the situation of women. Traditionally, activist groups and organizations prepare demonstrations to celebrate victories and achievements and to make their demands heard.

International Women’s Day remains highly relevant today because as long as equality between men and women has not been achieved, we will need to celebrate it.

We’ll be holding a free raffle on March 8 for everyone receiving care, with a special prize to be won (to be revealed on-site on March 8).

To do our part, we’ve decided this year to raise funds for the CIDFF (Information Center on Women’s and Family Rights) in the Hérault region; we’ll donate €1 for every Thalasso day package sold on March 8.

Thalasso Days

Founded in 1982, the Hérault CIDFF plays an active role in public policy regarding information on women’s rights, the fight against violence against women, and gender equality.

The CIDFF works in a wide range of areas, including:

  • access to rights,
  • integration, employment, training, and business creation,
  • family life and parenting,
  • combating violence against women,
  • education on equality.
